I’m Curtis Burns, owner and operator of GrowthDev.
GrowthDev is devoted to growing your business through well-crafted websites and an organized lead generation system incorporating paid ads, social media marketing, direct mail, and/or video.
We handle the technical end.
But enough of the internet mumbo-jumbo. Let me tell you a little about myself.

I was born in the early 1960’s in Wisconsin and my family settled into the Green Bay area. I was a pretty “normal” kid, but at age 14 I lost my left eye in an unfortunate accident. As life can turn misfortune into fortune, my mom, who felt greatly concerned about as a teen going through quite a lot at the time, enrolled me in Korean karate (Tae Kwon Do) lessons.
I really took to it and in less than three years I earned a black belt. I gained a lot of self-confidence and physical fitness in my mastery of tae kwon do. As the years rolled on, I also studied other martial arts such as tai chi, kung fu, and aikido.
I’m also a fan of the offbeat, sci-fi, and comic books, specifically Marvel comics since the 1970s. A lot of the characters we now see in these marvelous movies now, are kind of like old friends to me. It’s like the ultimate geek vindication, if you will.
But moving on, I also became a writer in my spare time, and as the Internet came along, I needed a website to publish my articles. And thus, was born my first website, starworldnews.com, which exists to this day, writing about astrology.
From that website came a lot of experience (trial and error) and many other websites, both for myself and others, and a great amount of website expertise that you can count on.
I like to study a subject or problem from all angles before I take my approach, and I’m very methodical and complete in what I do; and this translates into how I work with clients. I strive to produce the best kind of informational and effective websites for clients, and I have high standards as to what I will attach my name or the name of my company to.
I believe in helping the person or client who comes to me. We are all here to serve each other, not “grab the money and run”. Although we all deserve to make a profit; working together we will assuredly make even more money.
I love all the entrepreneurial stuff from Brian Tracy, to Gary Vaynerchuk, to Bill Gates; I may not be a multi-millionaire in the end, but I aim to produce things of relevance and significance to the world, have fun doing, and living life how I want to.
I love to read about history, biographies, politics and economics. I also watch a lot of goofy videos on YouTube, and play video games. I like a glass of wine every once I a while. I’m sure I could lose 20 pounds, and I’m working on it.
I’m married to my wife, Monica, and my son is studying to become a biomechanical engineer. I want to travel the world and see how people live in other parts of the world.
